As I've told you before, I worked with the healthy-food innovators at Santa Barbara's
Backyard Bowls to create some new menu items. (More coming soon, too!) The local paper there, the Santa Barbara News-Press, did a nice writeup on Backyard Bowls illustrated with one of my creations, called Spartan Muesli. I thought I'd share the picture with you. (Also: If you're ever in Santa Barbara, make sure you try
Backyard Bowls. It's an incredible experience. Tell them Amira sent you!)

I just checked out the Backyard Bowls link. What a great story! I love their philosophy on eating REAL food. It's always refreshing to bounce off others who share the same passion. Although I have to admit, before I checked the link I half expected a lawn bowls pitch to be in the mix as well :)

I love your site you have a lot of different stuff that im looking for as a link on my site. I will have it on the featured sites on my page. We live in v.a. and wanna move to San Fransisco because of the good organic food and people that are out there.
Thanks

The name sure sounds great, tho I'm not quite sure if Spartan's ate that actually hehe, hmm maybe in Sparta Tennessee or these days in Greece, but I think that the ancient Spartans might like it too :)
Anyways your creation seems like great stuff, if i pass by i will make sure i try it :)
Looks very delicious :P

Congrats on the feature - that Spartan Muesli looks really delicious. Bet it's a tad bit crunchy, just how I like it!
